The bridge consists of four inner piers, each 15 metres long, while each outer pier is 14 metres long. The piers were built with ferroconcrete with total cost of 1.34 billion Iraqi dinars.

It was also announced that the ministry has rehabilitated construction factories in Baghdad, Kirkuk and Nineveh, with the assistance of the Al- Mansoor Contracts Company.
