"Iraq's infrastructure is in desperate need of wireless communications. WIFI has exponential growth opportunities here, but we required more than just the last-mile," said Mohammed Omed Ali, CEO of Consultant Center based in Baghdad.
"The RedFire is allowing us to reach villagers at unprecedented distances. Village centers and citizens now have Internet connectivity for the first time ever."
The RedFire product line is specifically designed for outdoor hotspot and point-to-multipoint applications, offering long-distance (up to 30 Km) connections at data rates up to 54Mbps

Fully compliant with the IEEE802.11b/g standards, the RedFire product line provides features such as Windows-based configuration utility software, MAC access control, WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA, hidden SSID and wireless isolation, and WDS application.
"The RedFire was designed specifically for the Iraqi and other international markets," said Michael Avramidis, president of Wireless Interactive Comm. Inc.
"What is unique about RedFire is that it is the highest-power 802.11g radio on the market today. This allows massive speeds at longer distances, connecting far more clients with less concern about available bandwidth. Where most countries have a 'last-mile' issue, Iraq requires coverage that must extend well over 10 Km. The RedFire accomplishes this."
