Exports to Iraq on the increase (29/09/05)



UKTI figures show that exports were £79.3 million for the first period of this year
 
Exports to Iraq increased by 150 per cent in the first six months of the year, in spite of recent tensions within the country.

Figures from UK Trade & Investment, the government export body, show that exports were £79.3 million in the first half of the year, up from £32.1 million in the same period last year.
