International exhibition
The Iraq Development Program exhibition will offer the opportunity for companies to showcase the goods and services that will prove essential in aiding the development of Iraq. It will open at 12pm on Tuesday 28 June 2005 in Halls A, B & C. |

Iraqi businesses
Over the course of the three days representatives from Iraq’s leading business families, state-owned enterprises and commercial companies will be available to meet with delegates to discuss their immediate and long-term business needs. Meetings will be held in 20-minute slots, each meeting lasting 15 minutes with five minutes allocated for changeover. These meetings will take place in Halls A & B.
Prime contractors and organisations
Representatives from prime contractors, American Chambers of Commerce and a number of other trade agencies and bodies – including the likes of the Project & Contracting Office, Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance, British Army and the World Bank – will be available to meet with delegates during the summit. These meetings will take place in Hall C.
Industry sector meetings
Private exclusive face-to-face meetings will be available to meet with representatives from Iraqi ministries, including Iraqi ministers, deputy ministers and director generals. The meetings will be held in 30-minute slots, each meeting lasting 25 minutes with five minutes allocated for changeover. These private meetings will be held over the course of the three days. |

Expert seminars
The summit will include a series of expert seminars that will provide crucial insight into conducting business in specific industry sectors.
Seminar topics include:
- Providing security for businesses in Iraq
- Legal framework for facilitating business in Iraq
- Developing Iraq's oil sector
- Securing contracts to work in Iraq
- The role of Jordan as the Gateway to Iraq
- Logistical issues in Iraq
- Promoting investment to aid the reconstruction effort
- Improving Iraqi business ties
Charity fundraising dinner
An official charity fundraising dinner will take place in the Grand Hyatt Ballroom on Wednesday 29 June 2005, where guests will have the opportunity to relax and network with fellow delegates in a more informal environment.
The dinner is sponsored by the Al Janabi Group and will raise money for Iraqi charities. |

Iraqi Business Exchange
The Iraq Business Exchange online forum offers Iraqi companies the opportunity to reach the global market to source suppliers, partners and ideas, maintain communication and open dialogue.
The forum allows its members access to corporate delegates, prime contractors and Iraqi businesses. Once given access to the forum businesses are able to post their requirements to companies across the globe, gaining access to news of crucial developments within the Iraqi business market.
